Guri do Sul brings a style of dining that began centuries ago in the Pampas region of Brazil. Early European immigrants moved to the Pampas region, consisting of Argentina, Uruguay and Southern Brazil. Those from Brazil came to be known as Gauchos or “Brazilian Cowboys“, and started the tradition of Churrasco. Roasting meats over an open flame because the custom of celebrating family and friends together. This method of preparation would seal in the natural juices of the meats and result in a tender, more flavorful steak.

Likewise, Guri do Sul’s gauchos patiently prepare, and slowly fire-grill only the finest cuts of seasoned beef, lamb, pork, chicken and Brazilian sausage. We invite your family and friends to gather with us as we continue the traditions preserved in the “churrasco” way of cooking.
